"Dad Can I have this?" (My Tiger age son as he finds my Eagle medal) "No, not yet but you can when you earn it."
"Cool, can I do that when I'm a Cub Scout?"
(5 years later and he still reminds me. Now he's a graduating Webelos with his goal set.) --submitted by Peter Schlaf, Cubmaster Pack 1155, National Capitol Area Council

"I Remember YOU!"
From a young man who saw me at a camporee and remembered me from teaching Cub Scout Day Camp over a year prior.  The scout remembered the sessions I taught and could tell me many of the lessons he learned.  His mother remarked that she had never seen him so excited.  He was up before her in the morning and ready to go.  I'll never forget it! --submitted by Teri

" I had a WONDERFUL time!!"
Shouted out by a Cub Scout as I thanked them  for coming to the first Spring Fling (a one day Cub Fun Day) I organized  in our District.(It brought tears to my eyes.) --submitted by Brian Homan

"On my honor as a Scout....."
Listening to my son repeat the OA Obligation at his Ordeal and watching him earn his Brotherhood a year later. --submitted by Brian Homan

"You'll write a new ticket every day for the rest of your life....I do"
C.D.Green, my Coach Counselor and the wisest man I know. --submitted by Brian Homan

"That was so sad."
My 10 year old Webelos Scout son, after seeing his first flag retirement and hearing Scout Vespers for the first time at the closing campfire of Webelos Woods.  --submitted by Sean Scott

"Thanks for being Scoutmaster"
The first words spoken by the younger of my two sons who went to Philmont for the first time, as they came out of the airplane gate corridor and saw us after their high adventure.  Both are now Eagle Scouts.  These are great words for a Scoutmaster to hear anytime, but they are especially great when they come from your own son.  --submitted by  Tom Satyshur Jr.
